I saw this case on another show, don’t remember which one. A very disturbed young man.

I saw this case on another show, too, so knew immediately who was responsible. I didn't remember the parents being divorced, but that is probably just my faulty memory :-) Definitely a very disturbed young man. I wonder if the drug OD altered his brain chemistry, or if there were issues beforehand. The relatives interviewed didn't mention anything that could have been a sign, even in hindsight.

I didn’t remember the parents splitting up either, that whole storyline was new to me also.

Thanks cooksdelight. I live 15 minutes from San Juan Capistrano and I'll never forget that shocking murder and who actually murdered them. And that poor younger brother - now paralyzed for life.
