festivus December 1, 2016 Share December 1, 2016 I never watched Who's The Boss? either so I didn't realize how great Judith Light was until Ugly Betty. Out of a show with many great characters, Claire was my favorite. I haven't watched Transparent yet, but it's on my to watch list. 1 Link to comment
LisaM December 1, 2016 Share December 1, 2016 Judith Light as Karen Wolek from One Life to Live was phenomenal. The courtroom scene is one of the most highly regarded moments in soap history. Tremendous actress. 3 Link to comment
jdk December 1, 2016 Share December 1, 2016 I saw her in Wit Off-Broadway and she was truly mesmerizing. All the accolades she's received since are no surprise and truly deserving. 1 Link to comment
Trip December 2, 2016 Share December 2, 2016 And, of course, she was far and away the best part of the "Dallas" reboot. Never forget: http://previously.tv/television/miss-chanandler-bong-vs-mama-like/ Link to comment
maraleia December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 (edited) What's interesting is that out of all the sitcoms of the 80's the two that hold up the most are Family Ties and Who's the Boss. I loved how feminist Who's the Boss was and what made it great was Judith's performances. The show wouldn't have worked without her. Two more things about Judith that will make people smile. She was an early outspoken advocate for those living with AIDS in the 80s and when Dan Pintauro was forced to come out she was the first person he called because she's been an LGBTQ ally for decades. http://www.wherearetheynow.buzz/why-daniel-pintauro-was-forced-to-come-out-publicly Edited December 3, 2016 by maraleia 1 Link to comment
