Muffyn July 18, 2016 Share July 18, 2016 Dwayne Johnson is excessively charming; Rob Corddry is very funny. Richard Schiff is absolutely wonderful. Omar Miller sells every scene he is in. With very few exceptions (including the real player cameos), this is so well acted even though the material is often very weak. This show makes me want to scream. Can they not find enough plot to skip the extended "let's watch the sexy women dance" party scenes. If they wanted to make a show aimed at young boys looking for masturbatory material, they didn't need to get such a strong cast. What a waste of talent. 3 Link to comment
tabloidlover July 18, 2016 Share July 18, 2016 I bingewatched all of season 1 today (missed it last year) and watched the 1st episode of season 2. Love this show!! Rob Cordry and the Rock are pretty great together. Link to comment
thuganomics85 July 18, 2016 Share July 18, 2016 I can't remember the last time I've seen Andy Garcia. Since when did he grow a beard? Or is it just for this show? It just looks so weird and creepy, although that might have been on purpose. But it sounds like he use to manage Spencer or something, and made Spencer loose money, so that's why he hates him and wants to steal all of his clients? Glad Anderson is still around. Richard Schiff is always awesome. Same with Robert Wisdom as Ricky's dad. Things don't look so good for either Ricky or Charles, at the moment. Still enjoy the banter between Dwayne Johnson and Rob Corrdry. Whatever issues I might have with the writing, I really do buy Spencer and Joe has friends. Overall, same as the last season, where basically the guys are being fools, the women are background noise, and foul language and gratuitous nudity, but hey, it's Dwayne Johnson, so I will no doubt watch every episode. 1 Link to comment
paigow July 18, 2016 Share July 18, 2016 Maybe Ricky will end up in Jacksonville or Tampa....make Spencer do more road trips Link to comment
seacliffsal July 23, 2016 Share July 23, 2016 I felt that this was really a revisit of season 1; maybe to introduce new viewers to the premise of the show? Anyway, I hope that this season moves beyond the big parties and into some character growth, story line surprises, etc. Link to comment
