The description on our Shaw TV guide said it was the mother who was kidnapped, so we were super confused for a bit lol.

I don't think I know of any other show where the characters that have kids have so many. Sounded like 4 for Daniel Henney's character (it's really bad I can't remember their names ... I only know Jack and May) one and 5 for Jack.

That's the first time I've seen Sherry Stringfield in a long time (maybe since she left 'ER', although I'm sure she's done lots of TV/movie work).  She looked good (and I liked her haircut).

I felt sorry for the woman who kidnapped the child.  Of course, she was a kidnapper, but her story was so sad.

So local women can be crazy too, it's not just restricted to creepy local men.  I felt bad for her too, she was having a breakdown.

The dad was played by Ron Melendez, who I remember as the adopted brother on the short-lived UPN show "Legacy", about a Kentucky family in the late 1800s.  Haven't seen him ever since then, but apparently he has been steadily working over the past 20 years.

The mom was Laura Allen, who I know from "The 4400".   She was only on for a season though, she married the telekinetic guy played by Masherhaballazreallylongname Ali and gave birth to that all powerful daughter.

I enjoyed this series and am looking forward to next season.  I like the team and all of the actors, and I think they work well together.  The scenery is nice, even if only the stock footage is real and everything else is a set.
