Lisin January 30, 2014 Share January 30, 2014 From IMDB: "When Duncan disappears with Meg's baby, Lamb must work with two FBI agents to extract as much information as possible from an uncooperative Veronica. Meanwhile, Wallace reveals the real reason he returned to Neptune, and Weevil and Logan make a breakthrough in their hunt for the rogue gang member." SO MUCH TENSION! I love watching this one unfold having seen it before, it's almost more fun on a second watch knowing the end and seeing all the puzzle pieces come together. Plus Weevil and Logan as buddy cops always make me happy. Team LoVil forever! 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/374-s02e11-donut-run/
clemmyb January 30, 2014 Share January 30, 2014 As much as I've never been a Duncan fan, the ending of this episode always makes me cry. I love the closure we get with the fortune cookie at the end of this one (the numbers as a LOST shoutout aren't bad, either), and I think the way Veronica and Duncan pull off the escape is really masterful. This is an excellent one, and an excellent way to say goodbye to a character. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/374-s02e11-donut-run/#findComment-1311
Lisin January 30, 2014 Author Share January 30, 2014 This show did a lot of shout outs back in the day. I was always really excited to catch them and the LOST numbers are a great one! Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/374-s02e11-donut-run/#findComment-1316
Carrie Ann January 30, 2014 Share January 30, 2014 Yeah, this is a great send-off for Duncan, and a great moment for viewers who dislike him to finally be rid of him. :) 1 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/374-s02e11-donut-run/#findComment-1318
halgia February 16, 2014 Share February 16, 2014 Yep, this was the best possible ending for Duncan (and nice to see Vinnie on the right side for once, if only because he's being paid a ton of money). Really, LoVil and not WeeGan? But yeah, their teamups are great. I'm assuming this is all just never going to come back, but the FBI is just gonna forget that Veronica was clearly heavily involved in a kidnapping case? And they'll find the letters and stuff about Meg's parents, which gives a pretty clear motivation, even if they can't quite figure out the whole scheme. (Though maybe, on the upside, they read the letters, talk to Veronica, arrest Meg's parents, find out that Lamb knew and did nothing, and get him kicked out of office...sure.) 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/374-s02e11-donut-run/#findComment-1576
Lisin February 16, 2014 Author Share February 16, 2014 To be honest I'm a fan of Weevil and anyone. Not picky! 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/374-s02e11-donut-run/#findComment-1581
Hanahope December 31, 2014 Share December 31, 2014 A bit surprised that Duncan's mother was that much of a selfish bitch that she didn't even want her grandchild. Nice to see her 'daughter' again too, and have to laugh that Veronica knew Vinnie so well (and that Vinnie would take presumably less money - at least I assume it was less, maybe not). Pretty good plan they put together, having Lamb drive Duncan across the border, lol. I think the FBIs will appreciate the plan, and gotta hope they won't pursue it too much or too hard once they read the letters. I hope Veronica is able to repair her relationship with her dad, that was pretty rough. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/374-s02e11-donut-run/#findComment-685677
