Week of 4/14:  DARK!

Taibbi's appearance is timely, given today's Supreme Court ruling that basically expands what Citizens United allows you to do. Meaning, the one percent have it easier to buy elections. And the rest can eat it.

Always enjoy seeing Denis Leary ham it up with Jon.

Yes, the Denis Leary interview was fantastic.  They have such a chemistry together and play off each other so well, it's a joy to watch.

So I am usually the one woman on the face of the Earth who is mostly immune to Colin Firth's charm.  Every now and then though, it strikes me that the man looks like a billion damned dollars and when he walked out for his Daily Show interview, I upgraded that to two billion.  Good gracious.  Then I thought the same thing the next night when Jennifer Garner walked out.  

That was a week with a fair amount of "Look, humans blessed by the gods themselves" stuff going on.  I really enjoyed Firth and Garner.  

I liked Denis Leary also, it's like watching Jon grab a beer with a friend.  I also really enjoyed Matt Taibbi.  Really good week for interviews, I thought.

Denis Leary is one of my favorite Daily Show guests because the "interview" is always just him and Jon giving each other shit.
