Wow.  SUCH a good movie.  I didn't know any of the younger actors, but they really brought it.

 

Of course it was sad, but the story was .. memorable

Loved it. I recently read the book, and the two complement each other really well. I thought the tone was great: quirky and weird and heartfelt without being even the tiniest bit twee.

I'm looking forward to seeing this - I LOVED the book, cracked up reading it many times and got teary at the end, so I'm hoping the movie is more of the same.

Really liked it. Liked that there was no "romance" or sex scene - looking at you fault in our stars. Seemed realistic for this type of genre.

I did like that they DIDN'T make them remotely romantic, and it was about a friendship.

 

They were all pretty good, and I loved all the Pittsburgh feeling to it. It's a shame that no one really saw this movie.

Just watched this on HBO. I wasn't going to watch it because I don't really like stuff aimed at teenagers but the scene with the boy crawling away from his mom saying her non-stop stream of words was killing him was just too funny. It was sweet and funny at the beginning but by the end I was bawling my head off. Really great movie.
