Kromm June 18, 2015 Share June 18, 2015 Many of us may not like the fact that Beals own involvement with this show is because she's spiritual. As she explained to TV Guide: http://www.tvguide.com/news/how-jennifer-beals-obsession-with-the-afterlife-propelled-her-to-proof/ I hope she (and the writers) can contain themselves and actually not take the easy route of transforming her skeptical character into a true believer over the course of the show. They need to allow some true mysteries she can't explain, sure, but... also need a ton of Amazing Randi work (in other words, debunking frauds). 1 Link to comment
thewhiteowl June 18, 2015 Share June 18, 2015 I agree, I hope she remains somewhat skeptical, she needs to be a Scully not a Mulder. 2 Link to comment
possibilities July 8, 2015 Share July 8, 2015 I didn't know this show existed until I saw Beals being interviewed on "Off Camera with Sam Jones"-- she is a very interesting person (which I also didn't know until the interview). 1 Link to comment
