ETA: I counted three voices from Futurama. Fitting for a weird Magic Man-influenced episode.

I'm conflicted because I was amused, and enjoyed it, especially the Futurama voice actors, but sort of in principle I don't really like the "Magic Man swoops in and does something causing the whole episode" well they seem to be going to with any frequency.

That's my count also. Fry, Zapp, and the Professor. I liked that each of them was similar personality their Futurama character. Goose was Jake's friend, the Mayor was a blowhard Know-it-all, and the Crazy Scientist was well the Professor. There was even a Zoidberg reference with Finn and the spagetti.

All we needed was Katie Sagal to make it a full reunion.

Several episodes of this season have been a bit disconnected (like when part of Jake joins the circus) so for me it seemed par for the course).

I just noticed possibly another reference, Erik Adamkinson had the voice of the Professor and his dad appeared to be much younger than him, much like Fry was to Farnsworth.
