Snazzy Daisy June 2 Author Share June 2 Quote โI am learning so much from you, sir.โ ๐๐๐ Akram is the total opposite of Carl. Heโs polite, accommodating and has no problems interacting with people during their investigation. Hey Carl, call Dr. Irving pretty is not the best way to avoid talking about your feelings. This awkward scene shows the vulnerable side of Carl. Was Merritt taken by this โcoupleโ because she put Kirsty Atkins in prison? The motive must be deeper than this. Re the Leith Park shooting (Carlโs case) โ did Archie Allen (allegedly a police CI) get murdered because he knew corrupt coppers? I love the growing bond between Carl and Akram. ๐ 8 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153777-s01e02-episode-2/#findComment-8676511

I think that was this month's torture case. In that she is in solitary confinement but they feed her a case that were on the walls and she will have to confess her sins to them at the end of the month. And this has been going on for four years. The press conference was wild. I can see someone knowing because a detective came sniffing around an old case but that fully televised new police unit, headed by a celebrity detective who survivedย an assassination would sure have bad guys making sure that they didn't leave any strings to be pulled on. ย Edited June 3 by Raja 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153777-s01e02-episode-2/#findComment-8676710
Raja June 2 Share June 2 By giving DCI Hardy the case file I guess that in any series his new purpose is to be an Ironside like investigator that is trusted sounding board in future series if Netflix goes for further rounds. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153777-s01e02-episode-2/#findComment-8676916

WildPlum 12 hours ago Share 12 hours ago (edited) Morck is sort of amusing, in a House-ish way, but Akram is my favorite. What kind of investigative work did he do in Syria? Based on what he said about looking for people and not finding them, he wasn't in the secret police (they did/do the "disappearing"), but, by his reticence to discuss it, he wasn't in the regular police, either. I did love the scene where Morck goes outside of the therapist's office to come back in again and then the close-ups of the therapist as she hears the elevator ding and then watched him drives away. Morck's IDGAF attitude certainly extends to his inability to park a car. "I'm done driving now, I'll just leave the car here, shall I?"
