JenLily May 5 Share May 5 Honestly, I'm a little bummed it's not getting a second season. In the beginning I wasn't too wild about it, but once they stopped pushing the crotchety old man bit with Poppa and started leaning more into the different relationship dynamics, I think they could've done something more fun if they'd had more time. I acknowledge it wasn't the greatest of TV half hours but it had some moments that I enjoyed. I hope DWJ finds more work soon. He was delightful in New Girl and I liked him a lot here, too.
