Taeolas April 17 Share April 17 Glad they finally realized it's better to bring both of each pool's finalists into the finale, instead of a "random" one from one of the pools. No more Ding Dong Bell. All in all, we've got a damn solid final coming up here. Monster is certainly going to the final finals, and has a good chance of winning it all. I don't think they've had a male country singer win before (or at least not recently) so that's in his favour as well. Nessie continues to impress me, I think that will be a second finalist as well. Coral's quite strong. Not sure if she's strong enough for the finale, but I think she'll just miss it. Pearl is my 3rd Top 3 at the moment I think. Paparazzo and Boogie are likely the next two to be eliminated, and Paparazzo drew the short straw. I think it was a bit given he was going to go anyways, given his clues felt more blatant than normal. I recognized who he was, but I didn't know "who" he was; I never watched those shows closely in the 90's so I'm less familiar with him. Still, he was quite good as a singer, considering it wasn't his profession. Nice job all in all. Oh and the Question segments for the clues was blatantly pre scripted, no doubt about it. It didn't make sense that a show's premise is unmasking the singer is not unmasking for that week. Taeolas Friday at 12:24 AM Share Friday at 12:24 AM I pointed out last season that the Ding Dong Save didn't really make sense. It forced them to 'save' a singer before hearing all of the singers which didn't really seem fair. And also if they brought two singers per pool into the finals, they would be able to have a full set of eps for elimination, and not need the recap episode either.
