KeithJ April 4 Author Share April 4 Teams at 4 / 3 / 3. No surprise which team lost a chef. I’m wondering why Megan was celebrating their win, I thought that wasn’t allowed. lol 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152757-s04e08-beat-the-heat/#findComment-8625535
milkyaqua April 4 Share April 4 Yes, definitely find it hard to believe the judges didn't know which dish was what especially since Ramsey told Beatrice to not go too complicated with her dish. You could tell just looking at the plates which was which. But that was on Iman for picking frozen fish cakes. Like she said, she could simply have looked at the other side of the platform. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152757-s04e08-beat-the-heat/#findComment-8626027

Um, well, one of the chefs used za'atar, announced in the title by Blais, so that must have been Beatrice, no? /s 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152757-s04e08-beat-the-heat/#findComment-8629537
blackwing Wednesday at 01:55 PM Share Wednesday at 01:55 PM Beatrice continues to grate. The Pippi Longstocking braids, the extreme amount of red/pink eyeshadow, the giggling. I think she made a pomegranate beurre blanc. I love pomegranate and I love beurre blanc, but together they sound disgusting. Glad that Richard called her out on it. Show continues to prove that it is rigged. Nyesha had four left, so obviously it was time for someone from her team to go. And this week it was an easy pick. I have never liked Poor Man's Salma Hayek. I would have cut her at the auditions. Her salmon patty bao looked and sounded disgusting. It looked like pink vomit on a bun. Those salmon patties were destined for the basement, where they could actually do well when deep fried. It was her fault that she didn't see the scallops, which would have done very well when steamed. Since I didn't like either Beatrice or Iman, I was going to be happy either way in the elimination. But it was obvious that Iman was going to get cut. She just made it way easier in her choice of fish. In the eliminations, are there always only two choices? Salmon is the obvious choice for cedar plank cooking. Was there only one piece of salmon and one piece of swordfish? If so, I would cry foul. Swordfish is much more difficult to cook, let alone trying to cook it on a cedar plank. Iman's dish looked much plainer and she had an eggplant dip on it. That's an obvious staple of Middle Eastern cooking. Gee, I wonder which chef cooked which dish? Don't even know why Nyesha pretended to be surprised when Gordon announced it was Iman. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152757-s04e08-beat-the-heat/#findComment-8630285

I've been trying to ignore some of this because she's so young but it's been getting harder and harder to do. Hopefully being on the bottom took her down a peg or two. She does have talent but the annoyance factor makes it harder to appreciate the skill. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152757-s04e08-beat-the-heat/#findComment-8630670
