Poor Elliot. He has basically built his whole life around Kat and her family and even when they finally get together she is thinking of someone else. She and Thomas had way more chemistry than her Elliot, but I do feel bad for him.

So the pond, which has never let you go where you specifically want, just happens to send Kat and Jacob to 1816 immediately after they find out about something happening that summer?

I know this is a show with time travel, but are they now going to say spirits are real in this universe? That ouji board scene was weird.

Alice and Noah were cute in that scene with Brady. But I guess it won't last if Alice and Max end up creating Casey in the future. Not sure why Kat is in denial about them being a time traveler after knowing her daughter was also her teenage BFF and that she got to meet her parents as teenagers.

It seems like Kat has major maturity issues when it comes to relationships. She's worried that she and Elliot will be boring/"roommates" like she and Brady were in the end of their marriage. Well, it was up to them to put in the work to have a solid and happy marriage. Kat is drawn to mystery and the idea of a life of constant or at least consistent excitement, which is why she thinks of Thomas. Just about every moment she has spent with him, someone was in danger of dying. Sure she's attracted to Thomas, but there is nothing resembling a life or future where he's concerned.

When she said to Elliot, I guess there's always someone before the One (she was thinking of Thomas for her and Emma for Elliot), I thought hey you fool, Brady - your husband of however many years and the father of your daughter - was your someone. She married Brady and he married Emma. Those were real-life relationships. The memory of Thomas is fantasy. Kat has developed an addiction to time travel. She knows it is very risky for her to go back in time again with Jacob and she could get killed, leaving her daughter motherless. She leaves anyway. I really wonder if that old song about "witch" who gets the noose/darkness over Point Haven is about Kat and not Susanna - who by the way is going to die at some point no matter what Kat does.  I could totally see Kat getting herself almost killed (again) and Susanna has to save her. Or a Susanna/Jacob/Thomas team.

It seems to me like Kat refusing to consider Alice's theory about Kacee being a time traveler from the future is due to arrogance. She wants to believe that she and Elliot are the authorities on the pond and its TT capabilities. Having her kid be right about something upsets her sense of control and knowledge.
