Looks like Angelica is going to be this season’s The Prick.

You wouldn’t think that the sisters would try another murder plot since the first plot never worked out.

But if Angelica expands her blackmail, they may have no other choice.  She’s not just nosey, she’s trying to get something from them.

Hope they have Matt do more than make a cameo at the funeral but I thought I read that his character really won’t be in this season.

Ursula may crack too, like Grace did.  In the first season she had the affair.  Now she’s hooked on some pills and engaging in risky behavior but also easily manipulated.

Why does everybody keep confessing to nosy church lady?! You are catholic, you have priests for that. Priest, who cannot disclose what you confessed.

Call me dense but I was actually surprised Grace was really dead - thought she'd only be badly injured.

The sisters seem to have really lost it this season - they keep doing/saying really stupid things.

In one of the trailers for this season it showed Matt opening a front door so we should see him some more.  Curious as to how/why he and Becca broke up.

Surprised that Grace’s husband showed up just after the funeral. 
 

Seeing Grace’s daughter Blanaid show up at Angelica’s door at the end didn’t bode well for me.

It appears Blanaid will have a bigger role.  Seems like she's already had more scenes and lines of dialog so far in season 2 than all of season 1.

I thought maybe they cast a more experienced actress if her character was going to be more prominent this season but no, it's the same one, Saise Quinn, who has only one other credit besides this show, a 2019 movie.

She won't listen to Eva, who doesn't want to be too strict with her given that she's lost both her parents and now is going to be raised by Ian, a stepfather she's known for maybe a year?

I also thought Grace wasn't really dead. 

And I cannot believe Ursula told Angelica about the pills.  It's weird that her ex's new GF also works at the hospital. But I guess the ex worked there as well? 

And Angelica was blackmailing Grace.  Oh she has to go. 

I did enjoy the sisters laughing about Grace's leather pants. And at the priest.  I went thru something similar with my sister the day before my Mother passed away. It's such a surreal experience, you feel like you're outside your own body. Something happened and we got the giggles and it turned into a full out crying/laughing so hard thing. 

Grace and Ursula both confessing terrible stuff to Angelica. And she using her "religion" to  guilt people and blackmail them.  I bet Roger never told her about JP, she was just fishing.  I hate her.

And when Eva had to demand that she move out of the pew and sit behind the family. Who the f*** does she think she is!!!!

I also don't like that young female detective. And why are they investigating JP's father's pension? JP is dead. The father is dead. Grace is dead. JP was cashing the checks. What are they going to do?  Dig him up and put him in jail? 

Grace didn't take the insurance pay out.  Becka didn't know Matt was involved in the insurance til way into their relationship. And isn't that why they ended it?

I was so shocked to see him but he didn't seem very upset. Your new wife was just killed in a terrible car accident. Seems you'd be grief stricken. Did I miss something?

Nothing that I saw. He may have been thinking she deserved it after killing her first husband and his reaction might have been “whew”, that he’s safe now. I’m surprised how close he is with Blanaid.
Wonder if something is going on there 🤔

I'm more concerned about Blanaid showing up at Angelica's, but I wonder what the deal is with Ian. Maybe she was just happy to have a real father figure instead of the Prick.

RIP Grace Reilly.

This is the saddest moment in this episode. 😭

Sarah Greene gives a compelling performance in the funeral scene — Bibi starts laughing at the mumbling priest then it descends into a genuine sob.

It’s good to see Matt Claffin again, even though for just a little while.

And Ian is still alive. I really thought he’s buried somewhere. It looks like he is going to be an ally and a supportive step dad to Blanaid. But it’s not a surprise if it turns out that he has other ulterior motives.

Ian and Eva going for chips. Are they going for Eva/Ian grieving together kind of thing? 👀

They might be, having Eva and Ian drawn toward each other.

Did Eva have a love interest in season 1, maybe someone from the office?

Supposedly it's not unheard of for a grieving sibling and a widow/widower to get together.

Though I wonder if this is more of a thing in certain countries.

But it would make sense in a way, they would know each other but then are likely at an age when they haven't dated in a long time.

Sometimes they depict it as the sibling doing a service for his or her deceased brother or sister, marrying the grieving spouse.

 Does this mean that Ian inherits JPs parents house? Could Grace have been taken in by him? He seems decent enough esp w Blanaid but the way he acted wasn’t ok. Blanaid should have been able to call him, it was cruel that she didn’t know where he was.
