Daff November 11 Share November 11 (edited) Another good episode. Laughed when sourpuss cringed and asked, “Is this a poo bag?” Reminded me of when I worked with kids. I always had baby wipes because kids are messy. The boys, most of them thought it was gross. I just said, “It’s not like they’re USED, they’re clean out of the container.” It looks like this was a conspiracy, with a few different motives on the side. wanderingstar November 11 Share November 11 This show is fun. I love the partnership and friendship between the three women. 2 hours ago, Daff said: Laughed when sourpuss cringed and asked, “Is this a poo bag?” He's so annoying, and his attitude is counterproductive to the investigation. 3 Link to comment

I get why a police officer/detective -someone who is formally trained in investigations- would be a bit displeased with these three civilian advisers being brought on board; especially since they're not advisers with any specific skill that'll help the investigation. Like if Judith was brought on b/c her archaeology knowledge, or Suzie w/ dogs, or Becks w/ things ecumenical/pastoral then that'd maybe be a bit more palatable for a professional detective. Anyway, having said all that, the way Detective Sourpuss was acting at the rowing club had me wondering whether he's involved in at least one of these murders. 3 2 Link to comment

I don’t think he’s smart nor cunning enough to be involved, but he was sourpuss (ha, seems I started something-but his name might be Brendan) well before the women signed on. Misogynist from the start, and a real hater. You can tell by his coworkers reactions they think he’s out of line, too. I just hated the way he hopped out of the car at the rowing club and totally took charge of the scene. The female Sarge should have put him back in the car till he calmed down, but she couldn’t because they’re equal in rank. Ultimately, she’s in charge of the case, but there might come a time she orders him to stand down in an emergency-I don’t think he’ll comply. The consequences will be on his head, not hers. 1 Link to comment
