Michael Douglas is a cool guy. John Heilemann tried his best to explain things. I could sense his frustration. I had no previous knowledge of Sarah Isgur, and I was not impressed. Bill of course ventured off into blasting the "woke" left and making his usual snide remarks. He should be happy. He has four years ahead of making fun of Trump and his band of Christian fascists.

I like Heilemann, but get to the point. He kept setting up and talking in circles and just sucking the air out of the room.

Not for nothing, you've got Isgur, who actually worked in the Trump administration, who is actually quite funny and witty, and she can't get a word in edgewise. You couldn't ask for a better guest from a conservative pov on the post election show.

I do think Bill felt bad for second because after the mid show bit, he turned to her to ask her a question. And she talked a lot in OT.

But really, Heilemann took half the show to get going and make a point. I don't think he really knew what to take away from the election results. I think he was dead wrong about not enough time for the election, but they were arguing two different points. Harris only had three months. Trump had been at it for 2 years. There was no way she was going to catch up. I don't think a brokered convention would have worked either.

I liked the final editorial to talk about the environment. If anything, this election was about how people 'feel' instead of, you know, actual things going on in the world.

I wished they talked about just how absurdly stupid the electorate actually is. Isgur was right about Harris losing more than Trump winning, but I've heard her say during the run up to the election that it was all about 'vibes'; she's right, and really nothing to do with actual policies.

Bill’s environmental new rule was good and important.  Too bad those that need to hear the message won’t, and certainly nothing is going to improve over the next 4 years.
