AheadofStraight Thursday at 12:57 PM Share Thursday at 12:57 PM I was really turned off with the forcing the idea of a baby upon Brian even though he stated upfront in the relationship that he didn't want kids. We see this all the time on shows with straight couples, so I guess it's good that it's being thrust upon gay men as well. /sarcasm (I have 2 kids and it still bothers me when shows do this!) 2 Link to comment

Again they’re all up in each other’s business. They also trying to fix Gaby up with Damon Wayans even though she said she didn’t want to be fixed up, though at the end she’s going to have a breakfast date. So many of these character try so hard to be a big personality, which on this show means loudly telling each other how they should live or being colorful, like Brian saying fuck you to strangers on the hiking trail or Gaby putting on music for Damon Wayans and dancing out the door telling him her door code spells out boobs. These characters try so hard to be outrageous and it has to be exhausting at times to have to witness these antics. Jimmy can’t stop treating Derek and his father is going to have a confrontation about Jimmy and Paul treating him, even though he was a lousy, emotionally absent father to him. How old is Alice suppose to be that she has a regretful one night stand with the kid, betraying her best friend and sneaking out of Liz’s home? It’s like she’s already used to doing the walk of shame at the tender age of what, 16? She’s just learned to drive? it wouldn’t surprise me if Jimmy and Alice not only forgive Not Roy Kent but give him therapy. In fact he might become a regular except Ted Lasso is coming back. 2 Link to comment

That's why I've given up. That and half the cast makes me crazy. I'd love to take Ford, Williams, McGinley, and Malick and put them in a different show, because Shrinking is exhausting. Only Murders can play everything at 11 because, underneath, I believe those characters care about each other and it's very close to a classic farce. This isn't. 1 Link to comment
aghst Thursday at 06:26 PM Share Thursday at 06:26 PM I'll keep watching it because currently I'm only watching this one and Disclaimer, which is ending soon. Then Bad Sisters will be back and Severance in a couple of months. Then some new shows and some older ones that I haven't watched like Silo. Also like the picture quality of most of the ATV+ shows. Ceindreadh Sunday at 12:09 AM Share Sunday at 12:09 AM I had to pause for a few minutes so I could laugh at the 'made you look' note! And I think I want a Derek/Derrick as well, or at least somebody who can convincingly tell me it'll all be okay. 2 Link to comment
