DanaK October 3 Author Share October 3 Interesting episode. The young man with cancer story was difficult and I'm not sure whether I would choose to go over the parents to tell their son he was terminal or abide by their wishes. Ripley really messed up taking the fall for Sully, who came through in the end, but Ripley's relationship with Hannah might not survive. The dual bird flu cases showed the follow of trying to keep the two ER chiefs in their separate bubbles 1 Link to comment

KeithJ October 6 Share October 6 (edited) Med is “trimming the fat” and laying people off right after that other hospital closed? Didn’t they say that med’s patient count was going to double? Edited October 6 by KeithJ 1 Link to comment

At the end the desk officer told Ripley that someone else had already "confessed" and the clear implication was that Sully had come in to confess. The whole premise was stupid - even more so when it was determined that Sully was going to die in a few months. He wasn't going to serve any time since the system would have no interest in taking on the hassle and expense of treating him. They would just delay proceedings and wit for him to die. Put him on house arrest Link to comment

The officer never said that someone had already confessed. He told Ripley to take a number and have a seat. Ripley thinks Hannah ratted out Sully. 1 Link to comment
