Dimity August 20 Share August 20 I watch the Ron Howard movie and every single time I am on the edge of my seat hoping all will end well. I am not sure if that means it was an awesome movie or I am not very bright. Possibly both. Anyway I will definitely be making an effort to watch this! Link to comment

I wouldn't say any brightness in a trivial pursuit question but assuming Apollo 13 was seen in the theatre then if you were old enough to be noticing things about NASA in 1986 when Challenger was lost Link to comment

To this day, I consider Apollo 13 to be a perfect movie and I have lost count of the number of times. I have watched it. And I am on the edge of my seat every single time. I think this is more than anything to Ron Howard’s skills as a filmmaker. And to continue that train of thought, I’m pretty sure that this documentary borrowed some very generic shots of buttons and lights within the space capsule. If they think I didn’t recognize them, they are wrong! :-) 1 Link to comment
