Trini February 20 Author Share February 20 A couple of post-finale showrunner interviews: TV Insider: Disappointing: Spoiler Quote Will we see Phoebe again? Is Molly going to be a series regular in Season 2? Molly will continue to be a series regular in Season 2. … We wanted to be honest to the character and honor what she’s going through mentally and not have her panic disorder solved in an episode and have everything just go back to normal. We really wanted to put her character through something, but she is taking this other position. She will have stories there, and we’ll go from there, but she is definitely going to continue to be a big part of the fabric of the show. TV Line: 2 Link to comment

Trini July 25 Author Share July 25 [Could have sworn there was already a news / general discussion topic?? Did it get deleted or something??] Season 2 premiere is October 1st, at 10pm. NBC Fall schedule press release. ---- Possible upcoming plot/scene, from Inside Line at TVLine: Spoiler Quote When I was speaking with The Irrational showrunner Arika Mittman at TCA last week, I “joked” that she should send Broadway vet Jesse L. Martin’s Alec and Galavant alum Karen David’s Rose to a karaoke bar and see what happens. Now, I’m no expert on micro-expressions, but… judging by her reaction, I think I hit the nail on the head and such a scene may indeed happen. <...> Link to comment

Trini September 9 Author Share September 9 From TVLine: Season 2 preview: Quote While Jesse L. Martin’s Alec might be living in blissful ignorance at the start of the Season 2 premiere, “He will find out very early in the episode that Rose has been kidnapped, and he will immediately get on the case with Marisa,” showrunner Arika Lisanne Mittman tells TVLine. And while Prof. Mercer usually has the inside track on people’s motivations from the jump, “He’s going to be flying blind a little bit at first,” the executive producer adds. “He will bring those to the FBI, but they’re really groping to figure this out.” However the season-opening crisis shakes out, she continues, viewers can expect a slightly different Irrational than they saw in Season 1. “Rather than focusing on a season-long mystery, we’re focusing on character journeys,” Mittman says. And might there be a chance that one of those journeys ends with some lovin’ for Alec’s sister, Kylie? “There’s a chance, yes,” she teases. BONUS SPOILER!: Speaking of romance, are we the only ones who feel a little something-something brewing between Phoebe and Rizwan? “So far, we are exploring the relationship as a friendship,” Mittman says, “but you never know what could happen in the future.” Link to comment
