Snazzy Daisy July 18 Author Share July 18 An episode WITHOUT Voit and very little of Penelope is a good episode for me. I couldn’t ask for more. “Aside from the dandruff, you’re pretty clean cut.” Sarcastic Tyler! 😂 Gideon’s personality has made Jill and Rossi turned to each other for support back then. A circumstantial friendship. Now they’re working together again under a different situation but their dynamic is still there. The way they profile GS-1 (aka Damien) is evidently interesting. Instead of Tyler, I’d prefer seeing Jill helping/joining the BAU because she’s a skilled profiler. It’s very obvious that the little boy Jill wants to save is Damien yet he misses the hint. It’s a strategic move on Jill’s part to bring Damien to Gideon’s cabin, hoping Rossi will do the rest. They humanize Damien. The moment when he surrenders his control to Jill and the FBI, then clenching his fist to surrender his fate to Jade - it’s a powerful sequence of events. It’s chilling and heartbreaking. Will Jade go after Jill now or will she lead the BAU to the real big bad? We know she’s impulsive. Is Voit still useful to the DOJ and BAU? Can Orlov (Voit’s lawyer) help the BAU to prove that Voit is Sicarius? With 2 episodes left, I hope the Sicarius case will be resolved for good and we will have a satisfying ending for the Gold Star case. No spillover of GS and Jade into next season. 🤞🏻 3 Link to comment
jabRI July 18 Share July 18 This was a good eprisode, it actually explained some things, and let us see people actually working and figuring things out. Except for Rossi it feels like the men on the team are more military oriented in terms of directly achieving objectives, but lacking in critical reasoning. At least that we are allowed to see. Any speculation on who the investors were, or how many more 'schools' are out there? 1 Link to comment
Annber03 July 24 Share July 24 Yeah, I'm really liking the back and forth between Jil and Rossi, and the awkward history between them in regards to Gideon. I feel like this adds some intriguing context to some of Gideon and Rossi's interactions at times in the flashbacks in "Nelson's Sparrow", as well as the way Rossi's talked about GIdeon over the years. I was bracing for the possibility of Jill getting killed this episode, so I'm glad that didn't happen...but we've still got two episodes to go, so I'm still bracing, just in case... I hope not. Rossi's already had enough loss and there's still some interesting stuff they can do with Jill as a character herself. On 7/18/2024 at 5:04 PM, Snazzy Daisy said: They humanize Damien. mythoughtis Wednesday at 09:25 PM Share Wednesday at 09:25 PM (edited) I do not care about Damian, Jade, Volt, North Star, Gold Star, Tyler, Jill at all. I don’t care about Rossi’s infatuation with Jill. I don’t care about Tyler and Garcia. I don’t care about Rossi’s depression. I don’t care about Prentiss’s - whatever she’s got going on. I don’t care about Jill’s grief over Gideon. They’d been divorced for years. In fact, I think the only characters that I care about aren’t even on the show this season…Spencer and Will. Stop with the season long arcs. Do what you are good at … a COTW. Edited Wednesday at 09:27 PM by mythoughtis Link to comment
