S25:E7 Gabby and Patrick

During the episode I thought they were both lost causes.  By the intervention I felt Patrick was a lost cause  and that Gabby had a severe medical condition  that would kill her within a year.  Patrick’s tantrum over seeing her was a control mechanism.  These two had such chaotic lives but their only focus  was their TRUE LOVE. 
 

I was floored by both of their transformation interviews.  And the next steps.  I didn’t see any final screen about them being in touch?

The final screen said something to the effect that they were both focused on their recovery and have not decided anything about reconnecting. That tells me they are both doing well and don't want to fuck it up. I also thought they were a lost cause, especially Patrick. I suppose at some point they will have to interact because they have a daughter. I hope that doesn't trigger them.

Color me surprised these two crazy kids made it out of addiction. I was pretty sure Gabby would accept treatment and get healthy, but Patryk I figured was a lost cause. He thought he was a baller in the drug world. But wow, he accepted the help, finished treatment, and went on to sober living. Good for him! Good for both of them, actually. I truly hope they maintain their sobriety.

Hi all, Patryk's mom here. They both are doing amazingly well a year later—clean, sober, and thriving. 🤩

This makes me so happy! I'm so glad to see them doing so well!
