 I consider this the only remaining real “Reality” show out there now. Always was, hope it always will be.

My interest in TV has sharply declined in the past few months to practically zilch, …but I was looking forward to this. 

This one looks like it’s going to be a good one and it looks like they have a great group of serious survivors.

Seems to be a pretty solid group.   Very glad my favorite show is back.

🙋  Mes Amis! I am in agreement with your sentiments that this is the REAL "Survivor," as it were!

And though I like the Oz version, they don't face grizzlies, wolves, and moose in Arctic temperatures!

Every season I am amazed anew at how many North Americans grow up and live, even thrive, in such wilderness ways.  I wish I had learned even a tenth of their skills (Constructing a dwelling of branches and moss, complete with a stone chimney?! Weaving a fishing net?!) and knowledge (of edible plants, animal tracking, etc.) . I've never even fished! And archery was only a class in high school!

That is what I value most of this series: to actually see the talents and craftsmanship applied to completely new and extremely challenging circumstances.

Wow, this looks like it's going to be an interesting group and season. I'm somehow feeling like it's going to have more twists and turns than previous seasons, or maybe that's just the way they're trying to make us feel to make us watch. I'm not so convinced that some of these people will be up to the harshness of the weather and dark conditions on an extended basis, but no matter what I'm in as usual.
