AnimeMania June 6 Author Share June 6 That was a terrible episode that made no sense in the context of the rest of the story. I think it was written just to be sensational. Here is some of the things that just don't add up: Sunny Patel was attacked and got agoraphobia and is afraid to leave her condo. BUT, she still had the functionality to find a husband and marry him and live normally for quite some time. Whatever Sunny Patel's real name is, how did she manage to steal another woman's identity and get married and a job? What happened to the real Sunny Patel that she replaced? Even if fake "Sunny Patel" is innocent of murder, she has still committed numerous crimes that should be seriously investigated. 1 Link to comment
possibilities June 6 Share June 6 I also didn't understand what Tess was talking about in the scene with Mia-- Mia stuck with her? Tess practices her cane skills? When did we see that? It was totally tacked on and lacking any relationship to the show. The two of them and Best Friend Tess Doesn't Want to Commit To or Date at All, Actually had a party planned that we never heard about? I felt like I'd missed an episode or ten. 1 Link to comment
possibilities June 6 Share June 6 It's possible I forgot a scene, but I honestly don't remember seeing "Sunny" forgive Kai. He apologized, but she didn't let him in and then in this episode, he's not only in her apartment, but she's rehearsing her apology to Tess while he's there, and confiding in him about everything, and he's risking his life for her and then confessing to the shooting on her behalf. I feel like we missed A LOT of steps along the way to her trusting him and and letting him in again that much, and them becoming that close. 1 Link to comment
Sarah 103 June 7 Share June 7 I liked it when it was case of the week and you had a classic buddy dynamic between Tess and Sunny. In the last few episodes of the season they introduced this big bombshell conspiracy and are setting up something similar for season 2. I don't like the direction where the show is headed. I would have been okay with them solving the murder that triggered Sunny's agoraphobia, but the convoluted story they went with was almost too ridiculous even for TVLand, and someone has to go pretty far out there for me not to be able excuse it as TVLand logic. possibilities June 7 Share June 7 (edited) In addition to all the other problems, I'm grossed out by the notion that a professor cheatring on his wife with one of his students is an epic true love, unquestioned. And she knew nothing about what the guy was working on, even as they were planning to spend their lives together? Edited June 7 by possibilities Link to comment
AnimeMania June 8 Author Share June 8 2 hours ago, possibilities said: And she knew nothing about what the guy was working on, even as they were planning to spend their lives together? I thought they met because they were working together in the lab (but probably not on that project) and yet they want us to believe that fake "Sunny Patel" or any of his "research assistants?" have any idea what he was working on. 1 Link to comment
