Lantern7 May 27 Share May 27 (edited) Quote Twelve elite ninja couples compete together on the world’s most challenging obstacle course with the winners taking home the coveted title of couple’s champion. I just found out about this today. Will anyone else care to watch? Edited May 27 by Lantern7 Link to comment

I'm watching, but I'm rolling my eyes at them saying the baby is saying "good job mom" when she looks like she's crying (probably because of all the noise) and that she'll have a good memory from this...um, she's like a year old; she's not gonna remember any of this. (I never did get around to watching the women's championship...I keep forgetting...) Edited May 28 by ams1001 Link to comment
astrohip May 28 Share May 28 It was okay. Like everything else in the ANW world, youth rules. It's seems like there is some real tension between "Super-Mom" Sandy Zimmerman, and her husband. They never had any affectionate moments between them, and the body language was stiff and off-putting. No encouraging the other, no running to each other when it was done. Only perfunctory closeness. Combined with the over-saturation of her marketing by ANW, and her quick out on the last special (2nd obstacle?), maybe we've seen the last of her. 5 Link to comment
SophiaD May 29 Share May 29 That felt contrived to me. I'm not sure there are enough paired-off ninjas to make it worth it. I much preferred the "Ninjas vs The World" challenge, even though it could be a bit hokey at times, or the Skills Challenge. That was fun. I did notice quite a few familar faces in the promotions for the new season, so it should be interesting to see if they are actually showcased and marketed. 4 Link to comment
mlp May 31 Share May 31 Something about Sandy Zimmerman rubs me the wrong way. She seems a little too self-important. Maybe her husband feels the same way. If she comes back on the regular season, I hope they don't start that "first mom" nonsense again. Jessie and Chris seem like the obvious pair for a couples competition. I wonder why they didn't participate. 3 Link to comment

I can't find when the couples show was filmed, so I don't know if this is the reason, but she just had a baby in May. He's so freakin' cute (not that I'm surprised, given who his parents are). https://www.instagram.com/p/C7CQoiVgIVH/?hl=en Edited June 4 by ams1001 1 Link to comment

I had read a comment somewhere a while back that she was pregnant, but I didn't know if it was true. At the time she didn't have anything about it on her instagram, but when I saw your comment I googled why they weren't there and Chris's page came up; there was a gender reveal video involving balloons attached to a salmon ladder that popped when the bar hit them (the first three rungs had neutral confetti; the last set had blue). Then I looked for her page and saw the post from just after he was born and then when he was a week old. 1 Link to comment
