After celebrating his 21st birthday, Spencer enlists Coop's help to figure out what happened at his party the night before; Olivia and Jordan reminisce about their childhood with Billy; Asher deals with the fallout of a tough decision he made.

There is no TV show on earth that has ever accurately shown what happens when you get a tattoo.  None.  Spencer would have not been surprised after almost 25 hours to have found one on his ribs.  Also that tattoo was janky as hell.

Oh look Jordan is stupid and then Layla and Olivia show him how stupid he is.  Lather, rinse, repeat.

Coop no!  You love her.  You have to TELL her.

Some really fun moments in this one.

My favorite was when Spence smooshed Jordan with his cake and declared that Jordan always wanted to have a taste of what it was like to be him.  So true.

It's been forever since we got the old Coop.  Her interplay with everyone was sarcastic as heck, and warm, all at once.  Loved it.  It was weird to me, though, that she didn't jump Patience after the party.  I guess her crush isn't as consuming as has been portrayed for weeks.

Speaking of weird...Dillon presenting Layla that drawing of them together was probably the ickiest moment of the series.  Just wow.  He has always been a little off, imo.  This was right in line with his history.  I don't blame him at all for the crush, though.

Beyotch Layla strikes again.  Jordan made a fulsome apology, and she decided to minimize her ongoing betrayal of very serious commitments she made as a one-off "mistake."  She was sorry that Jordan "took" her perfidy as perfidy?  Really?!  Enjoy Ryan.

The park scene was adorable.  It was the type of thing that only happens between siblings who are bonded for life.  Olivia is not my favorite, but her love for Jordan has always won the day.  Eventually.

Finally, I want to praise the arc for Asher as a "coach."  His call to grab Wade as their QB was completely in step with the type of lines that up and coming, newbie, coaches must face.  It's the type of thing that steels them as they matriculate through, and hopefully up, the ranks. This Asher is legit.  He's earned the title.

I was afraid when I originally read the description that the episode would be heavy, but I should have known it wasn't in the previews last week when Coop was sarcastically asking if Spencer woke up in bed with Wade.  (They could have recreated an old Three's Company episode with drunk Jack and Mr. Roper if they'd gone that route.)  I hope that Wade won't go back to being douchey like he was before.  He may have actually learned from his mistakes, as everyone may have abandoned him after he lost his fame and money.  He was all alone drinking when Spencer confronted him.  I do wonder though why Asher told Jordan and Spencer about his recruiting Wade while they were drunk.  Maybe they would have later been mad that he lied, but then probably would have agreed that it was smarter to explain when they were sober.  Is Asher going to have a heart attack running routes for Wade?  I don't know why I keep thinking that when they said it was fine, but they hadn't brought up his heart for a long time before that.

I think Coop was right to not sleep with Patience when they were drunk and she doesn't know Patience's feelings.  They already did that once while sober when Coop was with Sky, so it didn't go anywhere.  I thought Spencer was going to drunkenly blurt out that Coop loved Patience and that was why Coop was avoiding her later.

Layla's storyline is completely stupid.  I know there are many people who stop taking their medication because they don't think they need it anymore, but she was suicidal just a few years ago and would probably have to be regularly monitored by a doctor for some time, and in many places wouldn't have access to her medication without appointments.  So she could discuss how she felt and perhaps have it adjusted accordingly.  (Which I still think is what Ryan was talking about.) But no, just have her work her way off the pills completely on her own.  That will go well.  I don't know why Patience thought it sounded like a great idea.  Layla's story of weeping because a dog wagged its tail is probably not a really good sign.  At least she didn't react to Dillon's creepiness.  They need to say how old he is because I can't keep track with the time jump and Jalyn Hall being older.  Dillon's probably still not in high school?

Patience beating up the dude (even though he started it) will probably used in some self-defense claim for Miko because of the doorbell camera footage being banned.  Then she can just walk without any mental health treatment, great.  Maybe Olivia can then leak the doorbell cam footage to vindicate Patience, since she has experience in such things.

Jordan really was being passive-aggressive toward Layla, especially if he hadn't talked to her about Ryan weeks later (or had but was still acting the way he did).  They probably need pre-marital counseling, not that I would enjoy watching that, so they could just talk later about having done this.  I liked his account of the super-tall slide.  Olivia was very supportive in this episode.
