S01.E03: Jake

When Tess (Dolly Lewis) inserts herself into Jake’s (Daniel Gillies) investigation to find the identity of a dead John Doe, she confronts conflicting emotions – fearing for her brother Lucas’ (Alec Santos) life while driven to do the thing she loves most: solve the case. Tess continues to resist the traditional sight impaired training offered by her vision loss consultant Mia (Alice Christina-Corrigan), preferring to rely on Sunny’s (Agam Darshi) remote guidance – until an unexpected crisis and a nudge from Matt (Jarod Joseph) forces her to reconsider. Meanwhile, Sunny is served divorce papers after failing to meet her husband for a date, leaving her concierge, Kye (Ennis Esmer), as her only real-life contact with the outside world.

Sunny should be careful setting fires in her condo, because if it catches on fire, all she can do is sit there and burn up.

I thought she was going to set off the smoke alarm, at the least.

And if she burned the divorce papers, how does that help, anyway? If her husband wants to divorce her, burning the paperwork doesn't stop him, does it?

I don't really understand the situation, though. If they are married, he doesn't seem to have been living with her. So... that's weird.

Whatever happened to Sunny was probably so traumatic that another person in the house, anytime the door is opened, or anybody at the door, would trigger her. The husband probably had to move out for both of their sanity. I am not sure how Sunny is able to get through so many deliveries of food and groceries.
