Ah, so it looks like they walked things back a bit with Rae somehow not dying after-all, but pretty much broken and in a coma.  Not sure how she was available to survive all of that, but I guess superheroes really are built tough!  Repli-Kate seems truly gone though and Immortal is... not taking it well at all.  Rex though, is totally earning my respect with the way he was able to power through things and take out King Lizard.  And even show a molecule of self-awareness!

I'm guessing some of the awkwardness we saw between Mark and Eve is hinting at something possibly happening with them.  Wouldn't surprise me because I really don't know if Mark and Amber can make this work.  Trying to juggle the superhero stuff and college life is clearly a losing battle for both of them.

Still don't trust the nanny even if she was open about being sent by Cecil.

Great seeing/hearing Mark Hamill again as Art.

Mind-controlling squids manage to still make it to Earth after-all.

Nolan ain't out of it, yet!   General Kregg better not underestimate him!  Not many can match Clancy Brown in intensity, but J.K. Simmons certainly can if/when Nolan goes back into full throttle unhinged mode!

Angstrom Levy is coming back into the fold now!

They're trying really hard to make Amber likable after last season. I can't tell if they're redeeming her for the inevitable betrayal or death.  At this point I'm just waiting for Mark/Eve which they keep hinting at. I just hope they don't get together while Mark is still with Amber or hung up on Amber.

I honestly thought Rex was dead after episode 5, especially since he had that great moment with Eve. He was a total asshole last season; only reason I didn't hate him is because everyone called him on his shit, constantly.  I was able to nod and. say yeah what an asshole.  I was surprised Rae survived, it did feel like a cop out that Rae and Rex survived.

Nice seeing Allen the Alien again. I guess they plan to redeem Nolan, I have no idea how I feel about that.

I am surprised that Repli-Kate died, she could have stayed safely at home while sending all of her clones to do all the dangerous stuff. It made sense that if Shrinking Rae couldn't force her way out when she enlarged, she should shrink back down and search for an exit. I am not sure why Rex Splode is still alive, he should have exploded himself when he realized he had lost to King Lizard.

I am not really enjoying all the soul searching that Invincible has ben doing in the last two episodes, it is taking up like half of the episode, but that is probably just me. They could have filled that time up with more depictions of the books that Nolan wrote.
