AnimeMania February 21 Share February 21 (Season Finale) A wave of public outrage pushes Hegarty and June to work together before it’s too late. Premiere Date: February 21, 2024 Apple TV+ Link to comment
Broderbits February 21 Share February 21 I'm really disappointed that Hegarty didn't kill Tony. It looked like he was going to when he stood behind the sofa, but no. No one in the 62s was a prince, but slimy Tony was the worst. Link to comment
Snazzy Daisy February 22 Share February 22 What a chilling ending with that “I’ll knock you flat” twist. Daniel Hegarty is a racist, he just doesn’t want to admit it. This show has left some things on ambiguous note. Why Stefan Ash killed Adelaide - was it an accident or premeditated? Who called the kill squad on Stefan - was it Kim or Daniel himself? Both Daniel and Tony have escaped punishments. Lucky b*st*rds! Overall, it’s quite an underwhelming finale. But I truly enjoy every scenes of Daniel vs June throughout all episodes. 🔥 There’s no need for season 2. This show has said what’s needed to be said. 2 Link to comment
dancingdreamer February 22 Share February 22 Episode 7 was the best for me. I felt I couldn't take a breath, until it was over. Apple sure beats Netflix, in the storyline department. I felt so very sad for Errol. I'm sorry it's all over. 1 Link to comment
Zaffy February 22 Share February 22 I really liked the finale and overall I enjoyed the season. The whole show was Capaldi and Jumbo and I would love another season with those two investigating together. Every scene with those two was fantastic. They have great chemistry and they are both amazing actors 14 hours ago, Snazzy Daisy said: Who called the kill squad on Stefan - was it Kim or Daniel himself? They showed Kim calling someone the moment Hegarty left so I guess it was him. 3 Link to comment

Kim is afraid because Stefan knows too much of their dirts. The show also intentionally shows Tony accusing Daniel of calling the kill squad himself and calling him a hypocrite. 1 Link to comment

Partway through this finale I was thinking they actually could have another season with these two working together (still with tension/conflict but closer to the same goals), but of course that twist ending pretty much extinguished that possibility. I was a little bummed by that because of the fantastic chemistry whenever they had scenes together that weren't straight-up adversarial. (Obviously the adversarial scenes were great, too, but hopefully my point was clear!) 3 Link to comment
