In traumatic cases, a false memory can be planted to fill in the blank. This was what happened to Errol that led to his confession. Someone fed him information that his brain considered as the truth, while drugging him.

June is getting so reckless. She’s risking her career and her family’s safety by questioning Tony about the combat league.

Is June going to report Officer Roskill and Waite for Jacob’s false arrest? Kim Cardwell is an idiot for pulling this tactic. He has poked a mama bear.

June’s husband - Leo is one badly written character. It’s really obvious in this episode. Why is he that clueless?

Another thing that doesn’t make sense is why Jacob doesn’t call Leo when he cannot get hold of June. They seem pretty close and he knows Leo is waiting for him at the football practice. Weird.

The drugs arrangement between Daniel and his daughter seem very transactional. Is that his way of avoiding an OD situation? Now we know why he moonlights as a chauffeur.

It’s apparent that Daniel’s MO is the combination of willful ignorance and rationalization. Deep down, he still thinks he’s a good guy.

This puzzled me too. Also, in the argument June has with Leo later, she calls Jacob “my” son, not “our” son. I assumed Leo was his father, but probably not (if this was pointed out in the show earlier, I missed it). Maybe they're not that close from the kid’s view.

There’s a throwaway line in a hospital scene in episode 2 wrt Jacob’s dad. It’s quick and subtle, many would’ve missed it.
