I'm really disappointed to hear this. It wasn't perfect but it was engaging. This is the only show I've really been keeping up with lately. Ugh, I have really low hopes that it won't end on an aggravating cliffhanger.

Yeah, with it being so close to the end of the season, I'm sure filming is complete, so they wouldn't be able to write and film a more fitting finale. Maybe they could do a Found movie or something to wrap it all up (like on Peacock) if it doesn't get picked up elsewhere. I doubt they would, but still...

Alert (which has like 5 eps hanging out on my DVR unwatched--most of the characters annoy me in some way).

I have the same problem with Alert. I liked the actors in other things but all together in that show they drove me nuts and I never went back after the first season. Found  had a similar premise and story line of a team member with a missing child but I actually like these characters.

I don't get what The Hunting Party and Brilliant Minds allegedly had that this show and The Irrational didn't, given that both just got renewed while those shows didn't.  None of the four were doing great ratings-wise, yet the former two got spared, while the latter two didn't?

Funny you should ask:

For the record, I tend to 🙄 at explanations like these -- my guess is one or both of these shows get canceled by the end of their 2nd season.

Might have something to do with "automagic" raises for cast and crew for next season. The first two may be cheaper in their 2nd seasons than Found would be in its third season. And Suits LA should never have happened, period.

But that's just a guess on my part.

I knew that the NBA was a big part of it.  But they could've knocked both back to midseason shows instead of canceling them.

I’m disappointed that NBC canceled these shows for basketball but in NBC’s view, they likely paid a lot for more basketball and the ratings will likely be higher than the shows they just canceled. I think it was these shows because it sounded like they were on the lower end of the ratings for NBC’s shows

I assume this would go here? There's a petition started to save Found.

That tracks, because the higher-ups at the show are trying to save it, too.  So is Shanola, as one of the producers.  Sounds like they might want to pitch it to a new network, after all.

I recommend ABC, since they don't have a missing person show.
