Synopsis: Set against the sweeping backdrop of the Navajo Nation, NAVAJO POLICE: CLASS 57 is a three-part documentary series following a group of recruits over the course of one year, as they fight their way through the Navajo Police Training Academy and out into the field, where they must contend with rising crime and centuries of neglect to hold their community together. For this cadre, known as Class 57, the pressure is fierce, and the stakes are high as the survival of their sovereign nation depends in part on the success of this academy. meep.meep October 23, 2023 Share October 23, 2023 If they were so worried about the massive attrition rate, why not schedule the exercise where they get bear sprayed until almost the end of the course. Looked like they lost a bunch of people over that. Link to comment
pasdetrois November 29, 2023 Share November 29, 2023 As we watched we suspected there would be lots of attrition due to the training tactics and environment. It was all wrong for that culture, and ultimately one of the recruits clued the trainers in. With a smarter, more supportive training environment, they would have had more graduates. Link to comment
