Snazzy Daisy September 24, 2023 Author Share September 24, 2023 This penultimate episode is packed with reveals. Colman and Lorna are now teaming up to investigate the House of the Sacred Shepherd. Surprisingly, they uncover a human trafficking organization that has been in operation for decades, disguised as an adoption agency. Colman was one of the trafficked children. His adoptive parents had made the arrangement with a man named Ignatius J McCullen after being introduced by Father Percy. Colman then discovers that Ignatius J McCullen now goes by James Coyle - the lobbyist for the the Magdalene Laundry survivor’s group. James knows Lorna is getting too close to the truth, so he warns Niamh to keep Lorna at a distance. Geez ladies, none of you read the small print in that letter before signing it? One of the nun at the survivor’s group meeting has provided an explanation on why Aoife Cassidy is not behind Lorna’s living room wall anymore. Link to comment
Dowel Jones February 20 Share February 20 (edited) It's too bad that Lorna is half-baked from lack of sleep, because her facial expression, coupled with her lack of reserve at crucial moments, scares the hell out of possible witnesses. What I'm curious about is the fact that, even if the women signed off on the lawsuit, the convent/laundry/kidnapping ring would still be criminally liable if the Irish government took up the case. Certainly there is enough evidence to warrant official investigation. The suit might even be dismissed because of conflict of interest, but it could certainly be reinstated with another attorney as the State has already conceded that it was a laundry. That damn fool drunken local deserved that punch. I hope his actions received local news so that his wife knew he was having sex with a 15 year old. And I hope that Sgt. Massey owns up to his past and gets behind the women. Edited February 20 by Dowel Jones name check 2 Link to comment

I'm sure everyone in that town knew what was going on and the majority agreed with him that it was the girl's fault. In all these cases it was always the girl's fault and she was incarcerated while the man's life went on as usual. Speaking of someone deserving a punch, it just broke my heart to see Lorna abused and cowed by that bitch of a nun an episode or 2 ago. 2 Link to comment
