Interesting. Just stumbled across an old Dr. Phil on YouTube where Carl and Kenya are on it. Carl is banging someone else. 
 

And yes, Kenya was just as much of a long winded, sanctimonious bitch on Dr. Phil as she is on this show.

So maybe Carl continues to get his needs met outside the marriage, but they're downplaying that to be on the show?

That's my guess. Dr. Phil had Carl's girlfriend and her husband on the show along with him and Kenya.
