tv echo February 24, 2023 Share February 24, 2023 (edited) This was an interesting episode. I think I liked it overall. Philemon Chambers, the actor who plays Gus, has a great voiceover voice, especially for a Western story. I enjoyed seeing some back story on all of the key characters and how they met each other and ended up in Independence. The Jared Padalecki cameo was cool. It wasn't clear to me what happened to Hoyt's mom. Was she hanged, did she get away, or is she in prison and still alive? It's still not clear who shot Liam. In any event, Tom stalking Abby since Boston is creepy. Those two Davidson brothers are both psychotic. In fact, it looks like that whole Davidson clan is bad. They could go two ways with Tom at this point. One, he was the one who shot Liam and he's full on bad. Or two, Shane shot Liam, and Tom has a character arc next season (if there is a second season) where he tries to break away from his evil family and become a good guy. As for the ending, I doubt very much that Gus is dead. Edited February 24, 2023 by tv echo 3 Link to comment
