Amongst the many adult agencies, one small start-up stands out amongst the crowd, Lockwood & Co, run by teenagers Anthony Lockwood, George Karim, and Lucy Carlysle. Ivanno Jeremiah as Inspector Barnes, Barnes is a Senior Inspector for DEPRAC — the government organisation assigned with tackling The Problem and overseeing the country’s psychical agencies. Often going head-to-head on competitive investigations, Bobby relishes any opportunity to attempt to outsmart George in a battle of wits. Ben Crompton as Julius Winkman, a shop owner and illegal relic dealer. Hayley Konadu as Flo Bones, Flo is a former agent who now ekes out a living on the mud flats of the Thames as a relic hunter. She was an exceptional agent, until she was profoundly traumatised on a job, causing her to quit and drop out of conventional society. Flo is wary and disillusioned with a ghost-fighting system that chews young people up and spits them out. Highly perceptive, eccentric, and recalcitrant, Flo is Lockwood’s oldest friend, the two of them having been there for one another in their darkest days. With her connections to Problem-stricken London’s underworld, Flo is a secret weapon and confidante for our heroes at Lockwood & Co. Pamela Joplin 1 Link to comment

krankydoodle February 24, 2023 Share February 24, 2023 Joe Cornish and the 3 leads did an AMA on Reddit yesterday: https://www.reddit.com/r/television/comments/11a0s3n/hello_reddit_im_joe_cornish_the_creator_writer/ I think it fell off Netflix's top 10 tv shows after 2 weeks, which doesn't necessarily mean anything because not everything can do Wednesday or Squid Game numbers, but it does make me worry that it won't be renewed. 1 Link to comment
krankydoodle April 1, 2023 Share April 1, 2023 I just listened to the Lockwood & Co spoiler special of the Pilot TV+ podcast that included an interview with Joe Cornish and he shared some interesting tidbits: They came up with a backstory for Pamela Joplin and Saunders who got involved when she was young but their relationship has since soured. She sees in George the kind of person she wishes she'd have connected with instead. They changed how the final confrontation plays out with the villain over the bone glass because the way it went in the book didn't work on film. The scripts for the second season are all currently being developed, some are even finished. Possible spoiler for future books describing how the finale originally included another tease where we see Spoiler the bone mirror being snagged by an unknown person before it can be incinerated and getting tossed into a massive pile of other active sources. 2 Link to comment

krankydoodle May 12, 2023 Share May 12, 2023 Noooo! ‘Lockwood & Co.’ Canceled at Netflix After One Season Quote Variety understands that while Netflix was very pleased with the show, and especially the work that had gone into it, viewing numbers didn’t meet the threshold to greenlight a second season. 3 Link to comment
