Let's see, tonight's episode of Attack on Titan features the 104th Trainee Corps finally has its graduation ceremony. It bears repeating, the 104th trainee corps finally graduates! For those of you who don't remember way back when, when trainees graduate, they can pick which branch of the military to join. MPs, Scouting, or the Garrison.

 

Only trainees in the top 10 can join the MPs. After graduation, the military's next objective is revealed!

Wow, Erwin has no sense of compartmentalization. He really didn't need to reveal that about Eren's basement, especially since they suspect the colossal and armor titans can take human form like Eren.

True, but Armin noted that the unnecessary info Erwin revealed was bait. To what end, we won't know for two weeks due to the Attack On Titan marathon.

Plan or no Plan, revealing the exact goal of your mission to a group of people, anyone of whom could be an enemy agent, is a dumb idea.

I thought that was a little weird too. Anxious to see how it plays out though and what the scouts are like in action. Forgot about the marathon....it's not unwelcome though.

Outside of Marco (who's dead) and Annie (who split) all the remaining top 10 members of the 104th Training Corps (the ones who get instant choice for the cushy life of the MPs) became part of the Scout regiment. I've always wondered - does that mean the Military Police got the second 10-20 candidates? And all other survivors became part of the Garrison corps? It's never entirely clear.

My impression is that the Garrison got all the remaining recruits. The MPs only take the top ten and never really see action, so it's unlikely their numbers really need to be bolstered to take less desirable candidates.

The big Titan Murder Whodunnit goes basically nowhere. I was sort of hoping for an episode of a Sherlock Holmes type murder mystery investigation. Most of Eren's surviving pals join the Scouts. They're going a mission to Eren's basement, but it looks like that's a secondary objective, while the real purpose of the mission is to flush out whoever killed the Titans.
