Howard interviewed Bruce Springsteen for over 2 hours on his Sirius FM radio show which is now being shown as a special on HBO this Sunday.

Sirius XM not FM.

Howard has turned into a very good interviewer & gets to questions that the usual 5 minute interview on late night tv never would as everyone is just trying to sell something in their 5 minutes. I heard a lot of the interview on Sirius XM & as usual it was very informative so I wouls recommend it for any Springsteen fan that hasn't already heard it.

Yes. XM . I knew that🙂 I’ll fix.
he always was a good interviewer. He was just horrible to most of his guests. Whether it was his schtick,an act or his need for therapy, it made his show mostly impossible to listen to.  He seems to be getting incredible results from his psychotherapy & I’m glad for him. I wish I could afford that kind of care. Most of us “in therapy” are seeing almost useless social workers.

This was far too long. Yes, he's an interesting guy but my attention really wandered as it went on, and on, and oooooonnnnn. Should have been 90 minutes. He mentioned his first marriage ending badly, and then he found Patty, while completely failing to acknowledge that he actually cheated on his wife and started an affair with Patty while on tour and she was part of his band.

Did he mention he cheated on Patty, too?

Loved Bruce and have been to at least 25 shows over the years but, when he released the Rising, I was pretty much done with him. His songwriting took a turn for the mediocre and I didn't like how overproduced his records sounded.

I was going to check out this interview/documentary as I am a fan of Howard's but at two hours? No thank you. Way too long.

Agree. Too long. And I was in love with Springsteen back in the day!
I wanted to hear more about personal things. Not how every note and lyric came about, which instruments came from where, etc.

He certainly did cheat on his first wife the model/actress, forget her name, with Patty his band member. I remember that. At least he was honest in the things he did talk about.
I love love love this new & improved Howard Stern. I wish he had gotten therapy years & years ago. We could have been hearing insightful & interesting interviews instead of baba booey, pranks, insults, misogyny etc. I’m happy for his progress.

True, but they got the information from court records, not gossip.

Where is this information? I thought this was debunked.
