A halfway decent couples counselor would have encouraged Michael to let Colin speak, instead of just sitting there and saying nothing as Michael dominated the session.

Anyway, the offer for the pity threesome was pretty strange. Once Michael asked if they were making the offer out of pity, the painfully obvious answer would be "no, we're asking you for a threesome because you're hot." Who would be dumb enough to say yes?
