When Season 3 arrives on Friday, Oct. 18, “We are doing a direct pickup,” says showrunner Tia Napolitano, “so everyone’s going to get all the answers that they were itching for at the end of our Season 2 finale” — including whether or not Gabriela and Diego actually proceeded to say “I do.” Any scoop on Fire Country Season 3? I can’t wait for the new season! –Caio Spoiler The Sheriff Country spinoff may not be premiering until the 2025-26 TV season (meaning, next fall at soonest), but showrunner Tia Napolitano told me you that we will see Morena Baccarin’s Mickey Fox on the mothership again this season. tv echo September 8 Share September 8 (edited) Fire Country Season 3 Trailer Reveals a Literally Crashed Wedding! By Matt Webb Mitovich September 7, 2024 https://tvline.com/trailers/fire-country-season-3-helicopter-crash-stops-gabriela-wedding-bode-rescue-1235327555/ Quote Fire Country showrunner Tia Napolitano told TVLine as part of our upcoming Fall Preview package that when Season 3 arrives on Friday, Oct. 18 at 9/8c, “Everyone’s going to get all of the answers they were itching for at the end of Season 2” — including whether Gabriela (played by Stephanie Arcila) actually will actually exchange vows with Diego (Rafael de la Fuente) after 1) Bode (series co-creator Max Thieriot) nearly interrupted their wedding and 2) the father of the bride, Manny, was hauled away by the sheriff’s department. “We do a direct pick-up” from the closing moments of Season 2, Napolitano previewed. “So you’ll get answers fast.” Spoiler But a third, unplanned factor promises to throw a hitch at the hitching when a helicopter rudely shows up uninvited, as shown in the Season 3 trailer below. * * * “The interesting thing for Bode is choosing just one thing” to focus on as a free man, “because he is so ambitious,” said Napolitano. “Is it going to be firefighting? is his personal life a distraction? The umbrella for all of that is his goal to live up to his legacy.” S3 Trailor Drop: https://www.instagram.com/firecountrycbs/reel/C_mUhXwJLxm/ Edited September 8 by tv echo Link to comment
tv echo September 8 Share September 8 (edited) What to expect from Yellowstone, 9-1-1, The Penguin and 74 other fall shows By EW Staff September 6, 2024 https://ew.com/fall-tv-shows-2024-preview-8702841 Quote Fire Country (Oct. 18, CBS) Spoiler Fire Country will pick up where it left off — with Gabriella Perez (Stephanie Arcila) standing at the altar preparing to wed Diego (Rafael de la Fuente) — but the sparks that kick off the season 3 premiere won’t be romantic. “There will be a helicopter crash at some point in the ceremony, so the church full of firefighters and friends will be dealing with that,” says Arcila. She’ll also have to cope with the recent arrest of her father, Manny Perez (Kevin Alejandro), and Arcila says viewers will see more of their relationship in future episodes. Gabriella and her ex Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot), meanwhile, will have a “new dynamic” this season. Teases Acila, “They will always love each other, but with him being out now and them possibly working together, they start developing a friendship in a normal environment.” —A.Y. By Matt Webb Mitovich September 24, 2024 https://tvline.com/lists/agatha-all-along-spoilers-superman-and-lois-series-finale-first/ Quote Any scoop on Fire Country Season 3? –Caio Spoiler Above and beyond whatever becomes of her and Diego’s helicopter-crashed wedding in the Oct. 18 premiere, “Gabriela is going to really examine how her family of origin, being Manny and Roberta, affects who she is, and how she views relationship,” says showrunner Tia Napolitano. (Meaning, you should expect to see Paola Núñez again.) Additionally, Gabi “is really going to lean into firefighting and succeeding in that area, very hard.” I am getting excited about Jensen Ackles‘ return to Tracker and Jared Padalecki’s move to Fire Country! Been a fan of both those guys for a very, very long time! Any idea when they are going to show up on CBS? —Sara Spoiler Ackles is scheduled to make his second Tracker appearance in the second episode of Season 2 (airing Oct. 20), while Padalecki was recently seen on the Fire Country set, suggesting his debut as SoCal firefighter Camden Casey won’t be too deep into Season 3. tv echo October 25 Share October 25 Fire Country Sneak Peek Reveals Sassy New Cadet — and Bode’s Snazzy New Haircut (Exclusive) By Matt Webb Mitovich October 24, 2024 https://tvline.com/previews/fire-country-bode-haircut-season-3-leven-rambin-audrey-1235370903/ Spoiler In Season 3’s second episode, “Firing Squad,” Bode receives a life-changing opportunity that could impact his future as a firefighter. Leven Rambin (True Detective), meanwhile, begins a guest-starring run as Audrey, a former fire camp inmate who is part of Jake’s (Jacob Calloway) Cal Fire cadet training program. * * * “I love Leven, she’s great,” Fire Country showrunner Tia Napolitano told TVLine ahead of the season. “Audrey was designed to really have some common thread with Bode, in that they’ve both done some bad things, they’ve both been incarcerated and spent time in fire camp, and they both really caught the fire bug, where they want to do this for real. So, she’s really meant to populate that area of Bode’s life.” We first meet Audrey in the exclusive sneak peek above, where she doesn’t give Jake quite the answers he is looking for during blackout training. The student/teacher tension is cut, though, when who rolls up but a shaved-and-shorn Bode. Link to comment
tv echo November 1 Share November 1 (edited) Fire Country Photos: [OMITTED NAME] Arrives to Stoke the Fire Inside Bode By Matt Webb Mitovich October 31, 2024 TVLine article link Spoiler The Supernatural and Walker alum [Jared Padalecki] will debut as SoCal firefighter Camden Casey in the episode “Edgewater’s About to Get Real Cozy,” airing Friday, Nov. 15 at 9/8c, and in which Station 42 and Three Rock jump into action when an airplane makes an emergency landing outside of Edgewater. * * * Camden was previously described as a “maverick with a surfer swagger, who is a force to be reckoned with.” “We launch Camden Casey in a really dynamic way,” Fire Country showrunner Tia Napolitano told TVLine ahead of Season 3. “He’s really going to flip the script in Edgewater.” * * * How so? “Everyone sort of treats Bode like this tiger they’re trying to tame,” Napolitano explains, “and Camden kind of says, ‘Why would you try to tame a tiger? Like, let him out!’ He leans into Bode’s dangerous side, his raw talent, his instincts, all of these things that we’ve sort of tried to keep in check for his own success. He kind of fans the flames of Bode’s instincts in a really fun way.” * * * Padalecki is set for a three-episode Fire Country arc that just might lead to a spinoff centered around Camden — akin to how Morena Baccarin’s Season 2 visit as Sharon’s sister Mickey paved the way for a Sheriff Country offshoot premiering during the 2025-26 TV season.
