dwmarch July 4, 2022 Share July 4, 2022 Props to Reece for generally not silhouetting himself on top of ridgelines. Almost every time there is a Special Forces team on TV or in a movie they will climb up to the top of a hill and stand up at the top showing off where they are. Absolutely absurd how the number of people chasing him at any given moment varied based on the needs of the plot. Also absurd how only Navy SEALs can chase a Navy SEAL. Quantity has a quality all its own. Also absurd how many contrivances there were to keep the chase going. Reece climbing down the cliff (and the tiny chase team failing to notice this) was the worst. A cabin with some supplies but not quite enough was also silly. And let's not forget the Escape River that these search teams are completely unprepared to deal with. He's a Navy SEAL! All he has to do is touch water and he's gone like a puff of smoke on a windy day! Even though he's half dead and just buried himself in an avalanche. Also absurd that while he did kill exactly one person in that avalanche, he was able to bring said person back and still escape with seconds to spare. And last but not least, he walked back to his pilot's hangar. Just walked, however far away it was. Looking like he just escaped from hell and with every cop looking for him he casually saunters back to safety. 1 1 Link to comment
Raja July 9, 2022 Share July 9, 2022 The First Blood episode , but this wasn't some small Sheriff's department Reese was against. I am looking at the authorities able to bring in Blackhawk helicopters to move their teams a few kilometers for a head start yet there are not drones and helicopters just watching Reese climb a cliff when if a car ran a red light and ran an entire squadron would have a camera pointed at him for our entertainment. I am thinking that the Fugitive Task Force needs a show. Too bad Dick Wolf and CBS beat them to air. Link to comment
