I really enjoyed Normal People, so I thought I'd give this a try, but the premise doesn't really interest me, and I was distracted the whole time by Melissa being Jessa from Girls and Joe Alwyn being an aspiring actor, struggling to live outside the shadow of his more successful significant other. I think I'll just re-watch Normal People, while I bid my time waiting for Stranger Things and Kenobi to drop in two weeks...

I also was hoping for some of the magic of Normal People, but now realize that was almost entirely the actors. And the casting here just didn’t produce anything similar.
