According to the media thread, yes.  But the last comment there is from September of last year.

  I as surprised last night to see this running on HBO. I saw it when it came out before, but look forward to revisiting this series. Mostly because I enjoy cooking and admire the woman Julia. 
   One thing I learned about her (that wasn’t covered in the series ) was that she had a love for cats. She had one in France and her good friend would feed it when she was in America. We’re not talking about canned food or kibble. She would make foie gras for the cat even if  meant her dinner guests wouldn’t get any!
