I really like this as a concept for an anthology series, and with Uber that's the only concept that makes sense since we know that Travis gets fired. According to this article, S2 is already in the works and focuses on Facebook (now Meta). Maybe Zuck will also get fired by the time S2 is made.

I'm a little worried that this show is made by the same people who run Billions, since that show has been a giant bore over the last two seasons, but even if this show is bad, I'm here for the Pearl Jam soundtrack.

Heavily panned in early reviews.

Yes the Billions team should cause wariness.  Not just boredom but implausibilities, poor understanding of the industry.

 

And will the characters all be dropping the same eye-rolling pop culture references as in Billions?

Season 1 has been removed from Showtime’s streaming service along with several other programs https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/showtime-removes-short-lived-originals-1235313350/

I thought they renewed this? It’s going to be a bit awkward not to have the first season on there though I guess this is an anthology series with unconnected seasons

FYI, Netflix will start showing Season 1 on October 4
