Glade November 14, 2021 Share November 14, 2021 (edited) Why is Emily so determined to defend the abusive father who hit her in S1 from any/all criticism? It's rather sad that she has ultimately been devoured by the family who oppressed her and now champions it. Edited November 14, 2021 by Glade 1 Link to comment
BaggythePanther January 22, 2022 Share January 22, 2022 I can understand Emily’s push to keep the family together. Edward and the rest of the family have been a lot more accepting recently so that makes it easier to forget the past and move forward like everything is ok even though IMO, Austin is right. Last season Austin was the only one who could see Emily the day she felt invisible. I wish they had touched on that connection more to make Emily a little more conflicted about choosing sides.
