methodwriter85 July 12, 2022 Share July 12, 2022 (edited) Okay, I need to say it bugged the absolute shit out of me that this show had Mel read Tara's speech about her own fucking mother at her funeral. Mel knew her mother for a few months. I would have understand Mel listening to the speech and applying it to her own life, but to actually have Mel eulogize a woman she knew for a few months over the woman's actual daughter? If Tara couldn't do it, they should have had another person who actually had a long-standing relationship with Lilly. Again, Mel has only been in this town for a few months. I just kept having "Remember, she's the star and no one can outshine the star" running through my head the entire time. This felt like Sonny Corinthos level of "protecting the star."
