Just watched the first episode because my middle aged daughter loves penguins and travel, and because I love Patton Oswalt.
A lot more to love too, so far, having just finished the first of 8 episodes.

Is this supposed to be Netflix' answer to the Natalie Portman/Meghan Markle narrated Disney documentaries? I tried, but its not for me - I find both the narration and the anthropomorphisation of the penguins really annoying.

I just watched the first three of these-wishing all the penguins luck! It blows my mind that the people that live there don't mess with them-but it looked like there were a lot of laws in place to protect them from the "giants".
