AnimeMania September 2, 2021 Share September 2, 2021 First Look Images Drop for ‘Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City’ Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City A live-action film that serves as an origin story, following the plot of the first two Capcom games. Kaya Scodelario as Claire Redfield, Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy, Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker, Chad Rook as Richard Aiken, Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield, and Marina Mazepa as Lisa Trevor. This movie is dark and grimy, it’s constantly raining and the town is shrouded in mist, the look is heavily influenced by the remake of the second game. I wanted Raccoon City to feel like a ghost town forgotten by the rest of the world. Lisa Trevor (Marina Mazepa) is a gruesome Umbrella test subject. Exposure to a Progenitor virus granted her enhanced physical abilities including near-superhuman strength, but it also kind of destroyed her mind and didn't do her physical appearance a hell of a lot of good either. Watch as Raccoon City goes from a thriving metropolis to the epicenter of the T-Virus outbreak. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City comes to theaters on November 24, 2021. Link to comment
AnimeMania December 5, 2021 Share December 5, 2021 “The town of Clearfield, MD has long stood in the shadow of three seemingly unrelated behemoths – the Umbrella Corporation, the decommissioned Greenwood Asylum, and Washington, D.C. Today, twenty-six years after the discovery of the T-Virus, secrets held by the three will start to be revealed at the first signs of outbreak.” Nearly three decades after the discovery of the T-virus, an outbreak reveals the Umbrella Corporation's dark secrets. “In the first timeline, fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker are moved to New Raccoon City. A manufactured, corporate town, forced on them right as adolescence is in full swing. They come to realize that their father may be concealing dark secrets that could destroy the world. The second timeline, well over a decade into the future: there are less than fifteen million people left on Earth. And more than six billion monsters - people and animals infected with the T-virus. Jade, now thirty, struggles to survive in this New World.” Resident Evil is an eight episode 60 minute Live-Action TV Series coming to Netflix that will follow the villain Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick), captain of the S.T.A.R.S.
