Meredith Quill March 10, 2021 Share March 10, 2021 Quote Nathan's guilt over what happened to Naomi manifests in a very public declaration, while Chester, Riley, and Greta sneak into an aquarium to get high. Link to comment
Scarlett45 July 15, 2021 Share July 15, 2021 Now it has been a while since I was a teenager (almost 20yrs) but my peers and I didnt do drugs or hook up in public places like the aquarium. The kids DO feel like kids in their behavior which I like. Very eager and there is a naivety. Link to comment
Black Knight July 15, 2021 Share July 15, 2021 After Euphoria I didn't even blink an eye at this show. I remember reading somewhere that Euphoria is a teen show for teens and Genera+ion is a teen show for middle schoolers. I do see what's meant by that. There have always been some teens using drugs. The public sex thing - well, I heard things when I was in school, but I was never sure if it was true or just rumor. Link to comment
AngieBee1 July 16, 2021 Share July 16, 2021 I've been out of school for a long time now - public and Catholic school - and in both I've personally known of students having sex in public. To me the difference between EUPHORIA and GENERA+ION is that Euphoria focuses on a subset of teens - dare I say, the cool kids. The teens in Genera+ion aren't as effected as that, they're goofy, they're not as dreary. Yes, being a teen is hard but some of these teen shows make it either morose or one big bacchanalia. I think Genera+ion is a side of teen-dom that isn't seen nowadays. They lean into the fun. 4 Link to comment
